August Arrives

The truth is August is not a favourite month of mine. Its arrival means more oppressive heat and uncomfortable walks down city streets. I cannot wait for fall and cooler temperatures. Until then I shall have to brave the rest of the season by slathering on layers of sunscreen, avoiding subway platforms as much as possible, and downing loads of cool drinks, like champagne. Say, maybe there's an upside to this month after all.
