July has started off with a bang, dumping buckets of rain on New York this morning (note to self: do not wear suede ballet flats when there's rain predicted or suede anything in the summer for that matter). But there are many things to look forward to this month: hanging out in Central Park or in air-conditioned museums and theatres (depending on the humidity outside), a stack of books to read, Manhattanhenge, and a holiday. Not too shabby, July.
